Walking Meditation
This meditaion has been designed to focus your attention whilst you are walking, ideally in nature. Walking meditation is a mindfulness practice that involves walking slowly and deliberately while maintaining a heightened state of awareness. It is rooted in Buddhist traditions, particularly within the Theravada and Zen schools, where it is often referred to as "Kinhin." Walking meditation is a versatile practice that can offer physical, mental, and emotional benefits. It is an excellent complement to seated meditation and can be incorporated into your daily life as a way to maintain mindfulness and inner peace in motion.
